Job summary

BUTTING USA Inc. is seeking a Production Foreman in Loxley, Alabama to lead daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive output. This hands-on leadership role combines fabrication expertise with the ability to coach a team and optimize production flow.

The Foreman will oversee material preparation, cutting, fit-up, welding, inspection, and handovers, while maintaining safety and quality standards across shifts and responding to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial manufacturing, pipe/spool fabrication, welding, or equivalent.
• Experience leading or coordinating employees in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read spool, isometric, and fabrication drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities with clear work assignments.
• Manage production flow from material prep to welding and inspection per drawings and schedules.
• Maintain presence on the shop floor monitoring workflow, staffing, and equipment readiness.
• Identify bottlenecks, downtime, material shortages, and equipment issues; escalate when needed.
• Set expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork; provide coaching.
• Support onboarding, training, and development; identify skill gaps and growth opportunities.
