Job summary

BUTTING USA Inc. is expanding with a new Alabama site and seeks a Production Foreman to lead a shift. You will supervise the shop floor, coordinate materials, equipment, and priorities to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

You will combine hands-on welding and fabrication knowledge with people leadership, coaching, and problem solving to maintain quality and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in industrial manufacturing or related field.
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read spool/fabrication drawings and understand specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities and translate priorities into clear work assignments.
• Manage flow across prep, cutting, fit-up, welding, inspection, and completion per drawings and schedules.
• Maintain an active presence on the shop floor, monitoring workflow and staffing.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, downtime, material or equipment issues.
• Set safety, quality, productivity, and attendance expectations; provide coaching.
• Support onboarding, training, and development; identify skill gaps.
• Ensure safety, PPE, quality, shift handovers, and continuous improvement.
