Toyota North America is seeking a Project Engineer to support paint and surface finishing operations for new model launches at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI). You will lead capital-improvement projects, modify equipment, and drive process readiness in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years' manufacturing project experience.
- Proven track record leading technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and structured approaches (PDCA, 5-Why, DMAIC).
- Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly to cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects supporting new model launches and equipment installations.
- Develop scope, specs, and validation plans for tooling and automation systems.
- Track schedules, budgets, and deliverables using structured problem-solving.
- Conduct equipment investigations and root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Production Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and OEMs.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and change management with safety in mind.
- Support production trials and report readiness using Toyota standards.
