Job summary

ABB in the United States, Georgia, Athens, seeks a Production Engineering Manager to lead the Production Engineering function, develop manufacturing strategies, and ensure readiness for new product introductions and capital projects.

You will partner with Production, R&D, Supply Chain and Quality to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost, while building high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; 8+ years in manufacturing/production engineering or operations.
• 3+ years leading engineering or technical teams.
• Proven track record in manufacturing process development and optimisation, including equipment and technology implementation.
• Experience leading new product introductions (NPI) and capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, root cause analysis, and quality systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data analysis.
• Candidates must have work authorisation to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Engineering to develop, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes and production systems.
• Drive capital investment and continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process enhancements.
• Partner with cross‑functional and global stakeholders to support NPI, supplier evaluations, and standardisation of practices.
• Develop high‑performing teams and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
