Job summary

Huntsman is seeking a Production Engineer Team Lead to supervise a team of production engineers at the Conroe site and provide technical leadership to ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective operation. The role includes leading projects, guiding engineers, and acting as a technical advisor to the Senior Operations Manager.

Ideal candidates hold a chemical engineering degree with extensive plant experience, SAP proficiency, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with 8+ years of related experience in chemical plant manufacturing.
• Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams including engineers.
• Experience with SAP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Process optimization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Huntsman Production Engineers team and assign projects.
• Serve as technical advisor to Senior Operations Manager.
• Perform duties of a production engineer and lead day-to-day activities as a group leader.
• Manage front-end process functions for the plant.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams and process reviews.
