Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a Production Engineer for ground combat vehicle programs in the United States. The role interfaces with the USMC Program Office, the Army CCDC-GVSC, and prime contractors to provide technical direction, solve production and sustainment problems, and support fielded systems.

You will manage production and post-production activities, develop briefs and white papers on risks, and collaborate with government and industry partners to ensure timely fielding and readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with DoD eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8+ years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience integrating vehicle software onto a vehicle and with production of large complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a combined project team of government and contract employees located in multiple locations to meet delivery dates for fielding requirements.
• Provide engineering support regarding production and process improvement for Combat Vehicle systems planning, design, development, and execution.
• Conduct requirement development and decomposition from higher level specifications and voice of the customer.
• Collaborate with USMC customer and DCS Engineers in a team environment.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production-related vehicle issues; perform risk management and cost analysis.
