Pratt Industries in Georgia is seeking a Production Engineer for our Clean Energy team. You will oversee, troubleshoot, and optimize the gasification process from fuel selection to emissions monitoring, while leading plant operators and ensuring safe 24/7 operations.

The role blends mechanical and chemical engineering with hands-on training, aiming to maximize throughput, improve yields, and minimize downtime through continuous improvement and proactive planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in energy production, boilers, or power plants preferred.
• Military background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize gasification processes from fuel selection to emissions monitoring.
• Maximize throughput and improve yields while reducing downtime.
• Lead, train, and supervise plant operators.
• Plan production requirements and monitor progress against goals.
• Troubleshoot equipment and implement continuous improvement ideas.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
