Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Lead Associate to supervise the production line and coordinate with schedules and orders at our Rocky Mount facility in Virginia. The role requires reading production schedules, directing tasks, establishing priorities, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work Sunday to Thursday, 6 PM to 6 AM, receive weekly or daily pay options, and enjoy benefits including health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate working knowledge of warehouse functions and operations.
• Take directions and multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.

$21.00/HR / $1.50 Shift Differential

Sunday - Thursday 6PM-6AM (3rd Shift)

The Lead associate is responsible for supervising the line and for reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be gathered, distributed, for production per quality standards and procedures.

• Establish priorities, provide direction, assign tasks, coordinate, and supportthe team to ensure productivityand instill initiative.
• Prior lead experience or assistant management experience a plus
• Maintainhigh-level quality control within the department.
• Determine work assignments and equipment needs based onwork orders and/or oral instructions.
• Completedaily logs.
• Wear the proper PPE.
• Working knowledge ofwarehouse functions and operations.
• Must be able to take directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
