Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, seeks a Lead Production to direct safe and efficient department operations in Tulsa, OK. The role monitors plant performance indicators and aligns priorities with production demand.

This weekend shift position runs Friday to Sunday, 5:00am to 5:00pm. You will train staff on equipment, solve daily production challenges, and ensure quality while adhering to safety and dress code requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in tube mill and/or roll forming process functions.
• 1–3 years involved with mill setups and manufacturing processes.
• Able to effectively manage people, personalities, and challenges.
• Able to meet negotiated timeframes to support customer demands in a organized manner.
• 5-S training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct safe and efficient operation of the department and drive plant performance indicators.
• Align priorities with production demand and manage a weekend shift schedule.
• Train and develop employees on proper equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure quality and productivity.

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Lead Production. This position will be responsible for directing the safe and efficient operation of department, performing simple production operations. This position will also monitor and drive plant performance indicators and align priorities with production demand. This will be a weekend shift position: Friday - Sunday 5:00am - 5:00pm.

What you will be doing:

• Experience with special measuring devices, micrometer, calipers and tape measures.
• Experience managing and leading 10 + employees at a time.
• Have basic math and mechanical skills.
• Able to seamlessly train & show employees the safe and proper way to set and operate equipment on the mills.
• Needs to have flexibility with production hours.
• Be able to push through a project with dedication, quality, & consistency.
• Attention to detail.
• Daily problem solving.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate and understand terminology of the job.
• Ability to follow and adhere to the dress code.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.

The skills and experience you need:

• High school or equivalent 1+ years' experience in tube mill and or roll forming process functions.
• 1 to 3 years involved with mill setups and manufacturing processes.
• Able to effectively manage people, personalities, and challenges.
• Able to efficiently meet negotiated timeframes to support customer demands in a simplified, organized, and effective manner.
• 5-S training is a plus.
• Lean training is a plus.
• Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
• Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
• Ability to communicate production needs with other support groups.
