Job summary

HVACEXEC.com Recruiters’ client seeks an Engineering/Product Support Specialist to lead engineering reviews and design necessary HVAC, refrigeration, and controls solutions for supermarket, grocery, and C-store projects in Columbus area.

The role reports to the VP of Engineering and the President, coordinating with field teams and third-party engineers to deliver submittals, pricing, and best-fit system solutions. Travel required as needed.

Qualifications

Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and controls required.
Experience in grocery and supermarket systems is desirable.
Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally is critical.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, management, or related area desired but experience level may supersede.
5+ years' experience in relevant industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

Conduct and support engineering reviews to align to client expectations.
Design, select, and promote all aspects of the engineering requirements to support the HVAC, Refrigeration, and Controls systems provided by the company.
Create all required submittal documents to support project specifics.
Complete project specific sections and pricing.
Work closely with 3rd party engineers to create best solutions for our clients.
Provide direction to Field Teams as required.
Work with all members of the team with a positive attitude.
