Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments in Boston is seeking an experienced Product Owner for the North America asset management line, partnering with Institutional and Intermediary Distribution. You will articulate product strengths, deliver market insights, and guide large-scale initiatives.

This role requires 7–10 years in asset management, strong analytical skills, and applicable registrations (Series 7, S63/S66, IAR).

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related experience.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with concepts related to assigned product and ability to explain them to others.
• Series 7, state securities agent registration (S63 or S66) and state IAR registration (S65 or S66) or the ability to acquire within a defined period (with support).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4 years).

Responsibilities

• Act as product owner for assigned product line, leading product advocacy efforts to drive market share gains.
• Conduct research and analysis to understand the marketplace, competitors, and advisor/client needs and develop effective strategies to highlight and capitalize on competitive advantages.
• Partner with Client Portfolio Managers and the Investment Teams in representing strategies to prospects and clients, bringing product expertise and investment foresight.
• Work with the marketing group, develop marketing collateral including presentations, RFP/database content, and other relevant materials required to describe and position assigned strategies and teams.
• Other duties as needed, which may include activities such as supporting new product development activities, providing input into other product team projects and initiatives, and working with Thought Leadership pieces.
