Job summary

TÜV SÜD Group is seeking an Engineering Manager, Product Safety in New Brighton, MN to lead a team of product safety engineers and ensure comprehensive safety evaluations and certifications. You will guide testing programs, coordinate with clients, and drive adherence to IEC/UL standards while maintaining project timelines.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality safety assessments and certificates for diverse products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years in product safety engineering within TIC industry.
• 3–5 years of engineering management or team leadership.
• Proven track record leading technical teams of 5+ engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8–12 Product Safety Engineers.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and provide career development guidance.
• Oversee product safety evaluations to IEC/UL standards and ensure timely reports.
