Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Item and Referral Data product from strategy to delivery. You will collaborate with data engineers, designers, scientists, and business partners to ensure clean, high-quality data reaches the analytics platform and aligns with business goals.

You will own the backlog, define roadmaps and OKRs, and drive data governance, security, and scalable data flows in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of product management experience with analytical databases, including data warehousing, ETL and visualization tools.
• Proven track record of leading global cross-functional product teams of data engineers, analysts and scientists.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, governance, and data management best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (user stories, sprints, Scrum).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of the Item and Referral Data product, defining strategy, roadmap and OKRs.
• Collaborate with data engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to ingest, transform, persist and deliver clean, high-quality data to the analytics platform.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, creating themes, epics and user stories that maximize business impact.
• Serve as the Voice of Product, gathering and translating customer and stakeholder feedback into actionable requirements.
• Ensure data architecture, governance and security standards are met across all data flows.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and foster a culture of continuous improvement and rapid delivery within an Agile framework.
