Job summary

Medica is seeking a Manager of Product to lead the Large Group Fully Insured (LGFI) portfolio across multiple states. You will guide strategy, design benefits, ensure CMS/state compliance and collaborate with sales, operations, compliance and actuarial.

The role focuses on optimizing product performance, managing lifecycle metrics and leading cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, compliant solutions in a complex market. Onsite 3 days/week in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in health care, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of work experience beyond degree.
• 3+ years of product experience.
• 1+ years of leadership, management or team lead experience.
• CMS and state compliance knowledge.
• Health plan benefit design & implementation.
• Monitoring product lifecycles & establishing metrics.
• Strategic thinking and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead LGFI product strategy and projects for the portfolio.
• Collaborate with leadership to address product issues and opportunities.
• Ensure CMS and state regulatory compliance in benefit design.
• Analyze LGFI programs for enhancements in benefits and networks.
• Partner with finance and actuarial to validate findings.
• Understand LGFI products, stop loss, and ERISA considerations.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop new products and processes.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation.
