Job summary

Veronica Beard in New York City seeks a Product Development Assistant Manager to support the ready-to-wear Soft Wovens collection. You will work closely with Product Development and Design teams and coordinate with overseas and domestic factories to ensure timely development and production handoffs.

The role requires 5+ years in fashion product development, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Based in our NYC office, the position offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apparel product development experience.
• Experience with overseas factories; domestic experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Development Manager across all aspects of development from tech pack handoff to production handoff.
• Independently manage the product development process for assigned factories.
• Manage approximately 50% of seasonal soft wovens styles across overseas factories for ready-to-wear and VBJ products.
• Own seasonal sample-stage BOMs and ensure all components, materials, colors, and updates are complete.
• Coordinate tech pack handoffs and meet seasonal deadlines.
• Maintain complete WIP information for assigned factories and track development status.
