Job summary

ORAFOL Americas is seeking a Product Development Engineer in Avon, CT to lead new product development through the PDP process and drive commercialization. You will form and guide cross-functional teams, improve existing products, and coordinate materials, processes, and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelors degree in chemistry, polymer science or chemical engineering and 0–5 years in plastics/film/coating. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected. EAP and 401K benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering required.
• 0-5 years of experience in plastics, film or coating industries desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development projects through PDP to commercialization.
• Form cross-functional teams; develop products and capabilities.
• Coordinate disciplines: Capabilities, Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality.
• Guide testing, documentation, and budget elements across the project.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and customers; resolve issues.
