Job summary

Fidelity Information Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Product Designer in Jacksonville, FL to lead user-centered design initiatives and translate product vision into intuitive strategies for web and mobile experiences.

You will conduct user research, develop personas, build prototypes, and collaborate with product teams to scale design systems and deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Computer Science, Information Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience using Figma to produce designs and manage design systems.
• Experience with online whiteboarding and collaboration tools including FigJam and Miro for collaborative design workshops.
• Utilizing Jira as part of workflow tracking in software development lifecycle.
• Creating, planning and executing moderated and unmoderated user research studies with online tools including UserTesting.com and User Interviews.
• Performing product design showcasing design process, problem solving skills, and impact on end-users or with an advanced degree in design.
• Designing software applications within a financial industry context.
• Working with industry-standard design tools and UX/UI principles.
• Designing web and mobile-native apps with the ability to create designs using a design system.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process by championing user-centered principles.
• Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to visualize and validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate the product vision into design strategies.
• Mentor and guide a team of designers, fostering a creative and inclusive design culture.
• Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Create, maintain, and scale design systems for consistency across products.
• Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and development teams.
• Adapt designs based on feedback, usability testing, and evolving project needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
