Job summary

Stellar invites a Lead Product Designer to guide design across Stellar's products, setting vision, and elevating craft. You will mentor another designer while contributing as a top designer on critical work, leveraging AI tools to speed concept to high-fidelity delivery.

In this role, you will shape the design strategy, scale the design system, and partner with Product and Engineering to deliver user-centered experiences. Strong portfolio and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped, end-to-end work.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate and elevate design work.
• Expert knowledge of modern design tools (Figma, Framer, etc.) and experience building and scaling design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design across SDF’s products and set the design vision.
• Mentor a designer while remaining an individual contributor on key projects.
• Maintain and scale the design system for consistency and speed across products.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ship pixel-perfect, user-centered experiences.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate decisions.
