Job summary

The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) is on the lookout for a Lead Product Designer to set and champion the design vision across its products. You will be responsible for managing another designer while contributing as a senior individual on key projects.

We seek an individual with 7+ years of product design experience, exceptional visual and interaction skills, and a strong understanding of user-centered design. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $235,000, along with various perks including health coverage, flexible time off, and more.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped, end‑to‑end work.
• Experience managing or mentoring other designers.
• Expert knowledge of modern design tools and experience building design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design across SDF’s products and raise the bar on craft for the team.
• Manage and mentor another designer while contributing to projects.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate decisions.
