Lead Product and Website Designer
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Conceptualizes and designs digital applications including website deliverables, programmatic campaigns, email, digital experiences for conferences and events, interactive experiences and digital experiences for external media. Delivers high-quality digital experiences and execution throughout the entirety of the project using digital strategy, customer engagement, and design-thinking to guide recommendations related to user experience and user interface. Partners with creative teams to think about the digital journey for our clients and customers and deliver digital experiences that drive through-put and performance.
Essential Responsibilities May Include
- Creates user-friendly designs that improve the overall user experience.
- Oversees user experience projects to support global marketing deliverables, ideas and solutions.
- Creates strategic and compelling user experience design solutions that are visually engaging and on-brand to drive an optimized experience.
- Manages execution of design projects and initiatives to deliver on-brand solutions that are based on best practices and meet the needs of the timeline requirements and works directly with other designers when needed.
- Prepares wireframes and recommended digital touchpoints and tactics that are strategic, optimize the user flow, and incorporate the desired call-to-action and brand engagement.
- Participates in brainstorming sessions, key milestone meetings and status meetings with the team to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and team/business priorities.
- Stays up to date with industry best practices, tools, and digital experiences.
- Ensures that user experience projects are accessible and follow WCAG guidelines (AA requirements).
- Analyzes current applications and websites and weighs against industry best practices to determine the elevated user experience.
- Produces and maintains digital assets library and templates for creating deliverables as a strategic driver of our digital standards.
- Works independently with guidance from the creative director in complex situations.
- Researches new design techniques and mediums and shares with internal creative agency and other designers to inform teams of new ways of working.
- Designs and maintains prospect websites including overall experience, journey development, graphic development, regular site enhancements, and usability reviews based on analytics and insights of performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX or graphic design, from an accredited college or university preferred.
