Hy-Vee is seeking a Produce Assistant Department Manager in our Illinois store. You will partner with the Department Manager to keep the Produce department running smoothly, ensure freshness, train staff, and lead when needed. Strong product knowledge and a customer-first attitude are essential to shine in this fast-paced retail role.

You will help manage inventory, pricing, and the fruit/holiday basket programs, while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Formación

• Customer-focused service and teamwork are essential.
• Experience training and guiding a department is preferred.
• Basic math and inventory handling skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver outstanding customer service, greet customers, and share product knowledge.
• Keep the department fresh and properly rotated, refrigerated, and stocked.
• Set and reset sales areas to promote products and maintain a clean appearance.
• Train new staff and assist with ongoing team development.
• Lead in the Department Manager's absence and handle issues promptly.
