Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Lead Procurement / Delivery Stream Engineer to lead end-to-end procurement for auxiliary equipment on AP1000 projects in North America. You will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Project Management to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals.

The role is hybrid out of Cranberry Township, PA with about 20–25% travel to supplier facilities. You will report to the Manager, APX WBS-7 Auxiliary Equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; at least 5 years in a leadership role of project delivery to major technical design projects.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead localization/regionalization to identify and develop North American suppliers for AP1000 projects.
• Develop and implement a program management model aligned with global execution models.
• Forecast program performance and develop mitigation strategies to meet safety, quality, and financial goals.
• Serve as trusted business partner to the Delivery Stream project procurement leader for major customer projects.
• Provide oversight to Delivery Stream teams across sites with Westinghouse, suppliers, and customers.
• Lead procurement strategy and planning for components and equipment.
• Collaborate with APX Supply Chain partners on strategic sourcing and execution plans.
• Mentor new hires and existing staff on customer projects.

About The Role

The Lead Procurement / Delivery Stream Engineer is a key leadership role responsible for executing procurement and delivery activities for Westinghouse new-build projects, with a primary focus on AP1000® nuclear power plants in North America.

This role leads the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for auxiliary equipment, from sourcing and purchase order placement through supplier execution, delivery, and customer turnover. The successful candidate will ensure project objectives are achieved across safety, quality, cost, schedule, and contractual requirements while partnering with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Project Management, Commercial teams, suppliers, and customers.

You will report to the Manager, APX WBS-7 Auxiliary Equipment and be expected to work hybrid out of Cranberry Township, PA. Approximately 20–25% travel to supplier facilities is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive localization/regionalization efforts to identify and develop suppliers in North America to support new AP1000 projects.
• Develop and implement the appropriate program management model, complementary to global execution models to profitably ensure Westinghouse's participation and leadership in the APX Supply Chain Portfolio.
• Forecast program performance, including identification of risk areas and development of mitigation strategies to ensure overall program meets safety, quality, and financial goals.
• Be a trusted business partner to the Delivery Stream project procurement leader for each major customer project.
• Lead and provide oversight to Delivery Stream teams across all Westinghouse, supplier, and customer sites.
• Lead decision-making, strategy development, and implementation for procurement of components and equipment.
• Work with APX Supply Chain partners to develop and provide strategic sourcing strategies and execution plans focused on delivery and implementation of products that exceed incremental profitable growth for Westinghouse.
• Oversee training and mentor new hires and existing employees working on customer projects for the first time.
• Serve as primary project interface for project management, status, and responsibility for delivery of components and equipment within Westinghouse scope of supply.
• Support development of Delivery Stream project management staffing forecast.
• Participate in bid opportunities/meetings. Once projects are secured, serve as the primary project interface, providing status and taking responsibility for the delivery of components and equipment within Westinghouse scope of supply.
• Collaborate with design engineering and quality to develop appropriate document submittal and witness and hold point (W&HP) requirements.
• Provide supplier strategy and procurement planning by guiding supplier Identification and down selection, technical evaluations, quality audits and request for quotation package creations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Discipline or higher in Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; at least 5 years in a leadership role of project delivery to major technical design projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
