Job summary

Amcor in Madisonville, KY seeks a production lead to supervise operators in a fast-paced extrusion and lamination environment. You will start up and shut down equipment, disseminate daily assignments, track production results, and maintain 100% labor efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, a Journeyman certification or willingness to complete an apprenticeship, and strong mechanical and leadership abilities to guide a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman certification or willingness to complete an apprenticeship.
• Advanced knowledge of plastic processing equipment and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Prior production lead experience preferred with proven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operators and disseminate daily job assignments.
• Start-up and shut-down of extrusion, lamination, slitting, die cutting, and forming equipment.
• Maintain 100% labor efficiency and proper inventory documentation.
• Record production results in the system and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
