Job summary

KCM Technical in Brighton, MI is seeking a 2nd Shift Lead Process Technician for plastics injection molding. You will support the Plant Manager and Shift Supervisors with mold changes, process optimization, and data documentation, and serve as back-up for the Material Handler.

Duties include mold changes, preventative maintenance, process reviews at the press, responding to alarms, and maintaining 5S-compliant, clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Prior experience as an injection molding process technician.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Safe working practices and good attendance.
• Basic mathematics skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes as directed.
• Execute injection mold preventative maintenance.
• Review process at the press for optimization and document data.
• Respond to press alarms and rectify issues.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas (5S).
