Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 5–10 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn new software as needed.
• Strong quality and safety awareness and documented procedures.

Responsabilités

• Maintain quality system procedures and ensure compliance across duties.
• Adhere to safety rules and enforce compliance through subordinates.
• Complete quality checks and paperwork for job tasks.
• Produce a monthly scrap report and drive scrap reduction.
• Reduce setup time and improve process stability across runs.
• Supply Engineering with robust processes for new tools.
• Ensure production jobs run with good, stable processes.
• Order supplies for the department as needed.
• Train employees and keep skills up-to-date with tech advances in plastics processing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees.
• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position.
• Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies, as well as enforce the compliance and implementation of each through subordinates.
• Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time.
• Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks.
• Responsible for Scrap Percentage in Manufacturing (Reduction).
• Responsible for reduction in set-up time (part to part).
• Supply Engineering Department with robust processes for new tools.
• Ensure production jobs are running with good and stable processes.
• Produce a monthly scrap report.
• Order supplies for the department as needed.
• Ensure employees are trained and up-to-date with the technical skills in their field.
• Keep current with all of the latest technologies in the plastics processing field.

Education and/or Experience:
