Job summary

Melaleuca: The Wellness Company is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead development, scale-up, and manufacturing transfer of capsule, tablet and powder formulations for dietary supplements and OTC products. You will work with Manufacturing and Quality to ensure efficient processes and compliant operations.

The role emphasizes project management, process optimization and collaboration with co-manufacturing partners to deliver reliable production for global markets.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemical Engineering or related field with extensive experience in supplement formulation and manufacturing scale-up.
• MS in Chemical Engineering with 7+ years in formulation, process development & scale-up.
• Other science degrees with plant/process development experience may be considered.
• Proficiency with Quality by Design, Process Control Strategies, and Good Engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust and efficient processes, scale-up and technology transfer to Manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to scale up products and optimize formulation for manufacturing and delivery.
• Establish blend sizes, protocols, and testing requirements for scale-up and production.
• Provide technical support for development, scale-up and process transfer of capsules, tablets and powders.
• Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending for process control.
