Job summary

Remedy Scientific Inc. is hiring a Process Engineer (Lead or Staff) to own the end-to-end sample lifecycle from intake to fully analyzed results.

The role blends hardware, firmware, software requirements, and data needs to improve QA/QC, throughput, and scale in Remedy's lab ecosystem. The candidate will map the current process, quantify cycle times, identify bottlenecks, and define automation opportunities in collaboration with analytical chemistry and software teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on process engineering experience (Lead/Staff) in lab/industrial settings.
• Experience with hardware and firmware integration.
• Experience mapping and optimizing multi-step processes.
• Track record of automating manual processes.
• Ability to define software/data requirements with engineers.
• Strong QA/QC in regulated/high-rigor environments.

Responsibilities

• Map and optimize the full sample lifecycle from intake to data delivery.
• Quantify cycle time, throughput, and bottlenecks at each step.
• Define and prioritize automation opportunities to improve QA/QC and scalability.
• Collaborate with analytical chemistry and QA/QC teams to implement improvements.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate lab automation equipment.
• Prototype, test, and validate process changes in lab settings.
• Plan for 24/7 operation and scalability of Remedy's pipeline.
