Job summary

Remedy is seeking a Process Engineer (Lead or Staff) to own the full chain from sample intake to analyzed results, in a hands-on role spanning hardware, firmware, software, and data systems.

You will map each step of the process, quantify cycle times, identify bottlenecks, and define automation opportunities to improve QA/QC, throughput, and scale. A true individual contributor today with potential to lead a team as Remedy grows.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in process engineering or lab operations, ideally in environmental or high-volume settings.
• Experience across hardware and firmware; able to build, integrate, and troubleshoot physical systems and instrumentation.
• Experience mapping, measuring, and optimizing complex multi-step processes, including cycle time analysis and bottleneck identification.
• Comfortable defining software and data requirements and partnering with engineers to implement them.

Responsibilities

• Own every step of the sample lifecycle from collection through prep, processing, analysis, and data delivery in Remedy's Lab and labs.
• Quantify cycle time, throughput, and failure/rework rates; identify bottlenecks and non-value-add steps to remove or simplify.
• Define and prioritize automation opportunities that improve QA/QC, throughput, and scalability.
• Work hands-on in the lab to prototype, test, and validate process changes.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams to scope custom integrations where off-the-shelf solutions don’t fit.
