Job summary

Nexans seeks a Process Engineering Manager to lead process optimization and continuous improvement at the Charleston site. You will define and optimize manufacturing processes, coordinate validation, and coach production teams to reduce costs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Industrial Engineer degree with 5–7 years in manufacturing, demonstrate strong leadership, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering degree or 5–7 years in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience in process engineering or quality function.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Knowledge of KPI-driven manufacturing environments.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive cost reductions.

Responsibilities

• Tackle tendering and provide production cost estimates for the factory.
• Ensure safety, quality, environment, and compliance across the plant.
• Define and optimize manufacturing process parameters and document changes.
• Coordinate drafting, validation, and dissemination of procedures.
• Lead, train, and coach direct reports in process engineering.
