Job summary

AGC Automotive Americas seeks a Process Engineer/Lead to guide process engineering activities across the assembly supply chain. The role involves directing engineers, coordinating equipment development, and driving cost analyses to meet KPI targets and safety standards.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in engineering, 2–5 years in manufacturing cost analysis with leadership, and proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plan, and Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing cost analysis experience with leadership.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma, 8D, PFMEA, and APQP methods.
• Ability to read CAD prints and work in fast-paced mass production.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support to Process Engineers and stakeholders.
• Direct resources to support production and execute improvement plans.
• Coordinate process, equipment, and tooling development and launches.
• Perform cost analysis of equipment, tooling, and labor for assembly.
• Coordinate VAVE and continuous improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in root cause analysis and countermeasure reviews.
• Coordinate GMM activities with Engineers.
