Foth is currently seeking a Lead Process Engineer who is team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented. The ideal candidate has a desire to contribute to our clients' success, seeks new learning experiences, and is looking for career growth opportunities. This position is based in Mehoopany, PA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and support process mechanical design efforts on projects.
- Hold team members accountable for quality work products.
- Perform QA/QC of engineering and design deliverables.
- Support business development and proposal activities, including concepts, deliverables, effort hours, and estimated costs.
- Interface regularly with clients and vendors.
- Gather field data and conduct investigations in a manufacturing environment as required.
- Generate equipment specifications and construction documents/packages.
- Collaborate within project teams including contractors and clients.
- Review vendor submittals and lead design reviews internally and with vendors/clients.
- Travel up to 25% for site visits and vendor meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- 10+ years of process engineering experience.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors.
Previous Experience with:
- P&ID's and process piping design.
- Installation, bid, and construction packages.
- Process and utility system piping.
- Paper making technology (towel and tissue).
- Cost estimating and construction support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
- PE license or ability to obtain within 24 months.
- Experience with paper making processes, 3D project execution, HVAC, pipe stress analysis, TAD technology, PHA's, Yankee drying systems, and material handling systems.
