Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. is seeking an experienced process/device engineering leader to define and drive process technology nodes in collaboration with foundry partners.

You will support design and layout engineers, ensure reliable manufacturing, and maintain our technology roadmap with senior management focus. You will evaluate and benchmark new process technologies, optimize for power management and mixed-signal products, and act as a technical mentor within the team to enable cutting-edge

Qualifications

• 10+ years in semiconductor process or device engineering.
• Experience with foundries on multiple process technologies.
• Expertise in HV MOSFETs, BJT and passive devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication; mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with foundries to manage technology deliverables for product design and roadmap compliance.
• Guide product design teams on process options, power device usage and layout/isolation best practices.
• Collaborate with design teams on DRC checks and tape-out readiness.
• Maintain knowledge of IC technologies (high voltage, analog, mixed-signal) and transfer to others.
• Review foundry processes and SPICE models for accuracy and production readiness.
• Evaluate new process technologies and introduce them to support internal roadmaps.
• Develop Process Documentation for CAD and Process Design Kits, interfacing with external CAD teams.
• Design tests and experiments to verify devices, processes, models and reliability.
• Work with quality/product engineers to resolve yield and manufacturing issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical role model.
