Job summary

AIRCO is seeking a Lead Engineer, Process Design to provide technical leadership on flowsheet development, process simulation, mass/heat balance, and equipment selection. This on-site role is based in New Britain, PA, with three days per week on-site and close collaboration with R&D, operations, and EPC teams.

You will develop Process Design Packages, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and EH&S regulations for AIRCO technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering required.
• 10–15 years of design experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical, gas processing, or related process industry.
• Expertise in Aspen Plus and HYSYS for process simulation and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Process Design Packages for new AIRCO technologies for FEL, FEED, and detailed engineering.
• Lead process synthesis, simulation, heat/material balance, equipment sizing and design, PFDs and P&IDs.
• Serve as the primary liaison among R&D, operations, EPC contractors, customers, and other engineering disciplines.
