Epoch Biodesign is seeking a motivated Engineer I to support process engineering in its lab and pilot plant. This role offers a hands-on environment where you will collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop process solutions in a dynamic startup setting.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and possess 0 to 2 years of experience related to process development. Expect to gain practical insights into lab and pilot operations while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Engineer I – Development Team. Supports process and project design engineering with emphasis on process development, engineering documentation, and process flow development. Hands‑on work in the lab and pilot plant, partnering with scientists, engineers, and operations across RD&E, Development, and manufacturing support functions. Based onsite in New Britain, Pennsylvania.
Ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemical Engineering with early exposure to process engineering, pilot plant operations, scale‑up, or technical development in chemicals, energy, manufacturing, or related industrial environments. Excited to work in a startup environment and contribute across lab, pilot, and engineering activities.
