Prince William County Criminal Justice Services is seeking a Senior Probation/Pretrial Officer to lead staff in high-stakes cases and conduct risk assessments.

You will oversee case management, supervise the development of supervision plans, and pull information from multiple justice databases to monitor performance. Training and coaching staff will also be part of your role, with collaboration across agencies to advance public safety.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years in criminology, psychology, social services, counseling, or related field.
• Experience in probation or pretrial services preferred.
• Experience supervising clients in the community and performing case management.
• Skilled in risk assessments and making referrals based on identified needs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to extract information from multiple criminal justice databases.
• Ability to collaborate with criminal justice and judicial agencies.

• Lead worker assisting staff with challenging cases and risk assessments.
• Provide quality assurance through periodic case reviews of risk assessments.
• Develop and oversee supervision plans and manage pretrial and probation cases.
