Job summary

Loomis Sayles & Company seeks a Senior/Lead Analyst, Private Credit Operations to support the private credit lifecycle from deal execution through settlement and payoff, collaborating with multiple teams across the firm.

You will assist in developing and refining private market workflows within the Loomis Sayles operating model, with a focus on accuracy, controls, and process improvements. Minnesota-based teams collaborate across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, Math or CS preferred).
• 7+ years’ experience in a private credit operations role.
• Experience reviewing Private Credit loan documents for key terms and operational details.
• Proficient in MS Excel; able to manipulate data and learn new systems.
• Strong math and quantitative skills.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and stay organized.
• Experience implementing new processes and operating models.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all operational aspects of the private credit lifecycle from deal execution through settlement and payoff.
• Perform private credit administration activities, identifying and capturing necessary attributes to book transactions.
• Serve as primary contact between Loomis Sayles and client custodian banks for private investments and settlement.
• Assist investment and legal teams with closing activities and transaction management.
• Provide first-line support to resolve settlement, payment discrepancies, and fund administration issues.
• Support investment and trading teams with new security setup, trade compliance and execution processes.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and investment guidelines across asset classes and teams.
• Assist legal with deal amendments and updates to downstream systems.
• Collaborate with Operations and Client Relationship teams to answer custodian queries and investigate discrepancies.
• Act as data steward for all private market data and coordinate updates across systems.
• Represent private markets on cross-functional firm initiatives.
