Job summary

T. Rowe Price seeks a Managing Legal Counsel - Privacy to join a global AI, IP & Data Privacy team, focusing on data privacy for the asset management business. You will advise on privacy-by-design, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance in a multinational environment.

You'll partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk and HR, leading privacy policies, PIAs, data mappings, and incident responses while helping to embed privacy into products and services.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active U.S. bar admission.
• 10+ years of total relevant work experience.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA).
• Experience drafting and negotiating privacy/technology contracts.
• Ability to advise across product, engineering, and risk teams.
• Global privacy exposure across GDPR, APAC, and Australia APPs.

Responsibilities

• Review and advise on product development to ensure privacy compliance.
• Draft and negotiate DPAs, processing agreements, and data addenda.
• Monitor global privacy developments and AI privacy risks.
• Provide strategic privacy guidance to business leaders and teams.
• Lead PIAs/DPIAs, data mapping, and records of processing.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies and training materials.
