Job summary
Thales Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to lead the engineering execution of complex in-flight entertainment, aircraft connectivity, and supporting product and system projects. You will coordinate across disciplines, develop execution strategies, and ensure delivery meets technical, customer, quality, cost, and schedule commitments.

Qualifications
- 7+ years engineering leadership on complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Experience with systems engineering across requirements to certification.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risks.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams for entertainment and connectivity products.
- Coordinate hardware, software, systems, test, and quality functions.
- Own the engineering execution plan including scope, milestones, resources, risks.
- Mentor engineers and share practices across teams.
- Lead PDR/CDR and certification preparation.
