OPENLANE is seeking a Principal Product Designer to lead end-to-end product design, drive strategic design vision, and mentor designers. You’ll partner with product, engineering, and executives to align design with long-term business goals. This role is remote-friendly, with collaboration across locations.

You will own design initiatives for a product area, conduct user research, create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, and evolve the design system while ensuring a user-centric culture.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer in senior/principal roles.
• Strong portfolio showing design process and problem solving across devices.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools.
• Experience designing for B2B or complex enterprise apps is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bias for action and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of the user experience for a specific product area from concept to launch.
• Conduct user research as needed, including interviews and usability testing.
• Create design artifacts: wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure implementation to a high standard.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system for consistency and efficiency.
• Champion a user-centric design culture within the organization.
