Job summary

Spectrum Montessori-Woodbury, part of the Endeavor Schools family, seeks a Lead Montessori Teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and monitor student progress. You will promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth following Montessori pedagogy, while creating a nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Starting pay ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, with benefits and career development opportunities. Relocation options may be available across Endeavor's 100+ schools nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must have accredited Montessori 3-6 training or be in training with a projected graduation date.
• 2+ years in a Montessori classroom as lead or assistant guide.
• 12 ECE credits and California teacher qualification.
• Current background check.
• Experience in a Montessori teaching environment preferred; willingness to learn Montessori philosophy.
• Strong communication skills with parents and staff.
• Patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education.

Starting Pay: Hourly Pay $23.00-$26.00, depending on education and experience.

Are You Qualified?

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• Must have accredited Montessori 3-6 training (or be in training with a projected graduation date)
• 2 plus years in a Montessori classroom either as a lead or assistant guide
• 12 ECE credits and teacher qualified in the State of California.
• Current background check
• Experience in a Montessori teaching environment is strongly preferred; a willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy is required.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required.
• The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.
