Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking a Primary Care Physician Supervisor to oversee clinical operations, supervise primary care clinicians and staff, review data and charts, and provide leadership consistent with VHA policies. The role requires MD/DO, full medical license, and board eligibility or certification, with strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and VA basic requirements.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school and full, unrestricted license.
• Completion of approved residency/training with board eligibility or certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinic operations and supervise primary care clinicians and support staff.
• Review data, conduct chart audits, and oversee educational activities in the clinic.
• Ensure compliance with VHA handbooks, directives and accreditation standards.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Respond to inquiries and support program administration and scheduling.
