Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Primary Care Physician Supervisor responsible for overall patient management within the THVS clinic.

The role provides leadership to support staff, oversees data reviews and chart audits, and directs educational activities related to clinic operations. It serves as the direct supervisor for primary care clinicians and handles performance and conduct issues with supervised staff.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required
• Medical doctor with MD/DO degree and US license
• Board certification/eligibility preferred
• English proficiency required
• Supervisory experience preferred (as noted in description)

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinic operations and data review for THVS.
• Conduct chart audits and educational activities for staff.
• Supervise primary care clinicians and address performance concerns.
• Ensure compliance with VA policies and by-laws.
• Manage schedules and coordinate patient care within the facility.
