Job summary

Stryten Energy seeks a Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance tasks at our Salina, KS plant. The role requires working on unsupervised basis, leading others, and assisting in training of less skilled technicians. The position includes wiring motors and troubleshooting basic systems, with a focus on safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years mechanical background (Diesel, Auto Mechanics or Industrial)
• Exposure to extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid).
• Continuous standing, walking and manual dexterity for 12 hr shifts.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety and health policies.
• Work unsupervised and provide leadership in the Maintenance Department.
• Assist training of less skilled technicians.
• Wire in electric motors, starters, and solenoids.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
• Perform minor fabrication using welders, torches, drill presses, saws, mills and lathes.
• Read blueprints, schematics and parts manuals.
