Acenda Integrated Health in New Jersey seeks a Supervising Prevention Consultant to lead school and community prevention programs, supervise a team of prevention specialists, and ensure evidence-based practices are implemented with fidelity. The role emphasizes partnerships with schools, law enforcement, and healthcare providers to promote youth mental wellness and reduce risk factors.

Responsibilities include program planning, staff training, data reporting, and collaboration across districts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, public administration, social work, or related field.
• ≥5 years in social services with implementation of evidence-based practices; ≥3 years in supervision.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Program Planning and Implementation: Develops and implements prevention programs within schools and communities, tailoring them to local needs and aligning with the NJ4S Hub plan.
• Supervision and Leadership: Supervises a team of prevention specialists, providing guidance, support, and ensuring quality of work, including training and workshops.
• Evidence-Based Practices: Ensures that all prevention activities are evidence-based and implemented with fidelity.
• Community Partnerships: Establishes and maintains relationships with schools, law enforcement, healthcare providers, etc.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Assists with data collection, reporting, analysis, evaluation, and quality improvement processes.
• Customer Service: Serves as a role model for positive interactions with students, families, and community members.
• Training and Workshops: Delivers training sessions, workshops, and presentations on prevention topics.
• Collaboration: Works with school districts and stakeholders to facilitate initiatives.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
