Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions seeks a Press Brake Operator III to set up and operate metal bending machines in line with quality and quantity standards. You will draw and back-save tooling, coordinate with maintenance for uptime, and participate in quoting parts and lean improvements.

The role involves training and mentoring staff, maintaining safety practices, and driving productivity to meet deadlines and goals. A background in tooling and machine controls is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructions.
• Knowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake to meet quality and production targets.
• Draw new tools in library and back-save tooling library and programs to network.
• Coordinate with lead and maintenance staff to ensure equipment runs efficiently and PMs are performed.
• Assist with quoting new parts and determine tooling requirements.
• Train new employees and mentor current employees to standards for quality and efficiency.
• Lead safety initiatives and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
