Lake Air Products is looking for a Lead Press Brake Operator for the 2nd shift in Vadnais Heights, MN. The role leads and supports the Press Brake department, sets up and operates equipment, oversees job assignments, and ensures quality and productivity in a fast-paced sheet metal environment.

You will mentor operators, troubleshoot setups, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and ISO-compliant procedures. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of Press Brake experience.
• Excellent people skills and ability to partner with leadership.
• Ability to bend and lift, move between workstations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations within the Press Brake department and support production goals.
• Set up and operate press brake equipment per blueprints.
• Assign jobs and coordinate workflow with materials and tools.
• Train and mentor Press Brake Operators on setup and quality expectations.
• Review and troubleshoot setups, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards through inspections and ISO procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment and follow safety policies.
