You will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports young children’s development and meets licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies in a licensed childcare setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Excellent reading, writing and verbal English communication skills.
• State licensing requirements must be met for the Teacher role.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet families daily and build professional, welcoming relationships.
• Follow IEPs and behavioral plans and support individualized needs.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using approved systems.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents as required.
• Support in managing student behaviors and uphold classroom expectations.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and professional development.
