Job summary

The Learning Experience seeks a Lead Teacher for HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare centers. You will develop engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and foster a joyful, safe learning environment for infants through preschoolers.

Responsibilities include monitoring developmental milestones, maintaining open communication with families through our app, and collaborating with peers to keep classrooms positive and organized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent + 12 Early Childhood Education College Units Required.
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred).
• 18 years of age or older.
• 2+ years’ experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
• Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create fun learning by executing engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Create safe & happy spaces by ensuring center standards of clean, safe, and organized classrooms.
• Monitor growth and development through understanding key milestones and celebrating progress.
• Build relationships and communication with families and share daily updates via our app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
