Job summary

The Learning Experience in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center. You will create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and nurture a loving, educational space for children from infancy to preschool.

You will build strong relationships with families, communicate progress via our mobile app, and work with a team to maintain safe, clean classrooms that support joyful learning and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred)
• 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years' experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center
• Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Create fun learning by executing engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Create safe & happy spaces by ensuring standards of clean, safe, and organized classrooms.
• Monitor growth and development through milestones and celebrate progress.
• Build relationships and communication with families and share daily updates via our app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
