Job summary

The Learning Experience - Grand Prairie is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher in Grand Prairie, TX. You will lead the classroom, deliver the LEAP Curriculum, and ensure a safe, structured environment for children to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of childcare, preschool, daycare, teaching, nanny, or related experience.
• 1+ year of early childhood education or classroom experience preferred.
• Ability to meet Texas childcare licensing and background requirements.
• Able to work the 9:30 AM–6:30 PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom activities, routines, and transitions.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum through age-appropriate learning and play.
• Create a safe, organized, and engaging preschool classroom.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Communicate with families about children's daily activities and development.
• Maintain classroom records, lesson plans, and documentation.
• Follow Texas childcare licensing, health, safety, and supervision requirements.
• Work collaboratively with center leadership and other teachers.
